True worship demands personal commitment to a growing relationship with God, Jesus and Holy Spirit

Worship is the response of a grateful and humble person to the living God where submission, sacrificial service, praise, profession, testimony and gratitude are freely expressed in innumerable ways.

As worshipers, we make choices every day.

The Bible urges us to make the choice to make our total lives a blessing to God and others. Our goals is to “continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise, the fruit of lips that confess His name. And do not neglect to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased. (Heb 13:15-16)

Our character (not personality) is on display.

“Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking, as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby, if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious.”(1 Pet 2:1-3)

As worshipers, we must choose to “lay aside” negative things: 1. Malice- intentional evil to harm others; 2. Deceit- trickery/falsehood; 3. Hypocrisy- inconsistency; 4. Envy- Jealousy of others success; 5. Evil Speaking- saying things that are hurtful.
